Varca Ventures, Inc., is a publicly traded [VRCV: OTCBB] mining exploration stage company, which engages in the acquisition and exploration of mineral properties. It owns and leases 15 patented lode mining claims known as the Idaho property; and 12 patented lode mining claims, known as the May Day property, located in La Plata County, Colorado. Varca received a conditional approval in November 2011 to mine the properties, which cover approximately 275 acres. During 2012, it has invested significant time, resources and effort to comply with the conditional permit issued to the company back in November 2011. By the end of the second quarter of 2012, it had completed many of the corrective actions of that permit (See Permitting). The company’s corporate headquarters is based in Sarasota, Florida.
